Real Estate Developer, having more than twenty eighty years of rich and diversified experience as a field engineer, executive and now as an independent entrepreneur, in the Real Estate Development / Construction Industry. His experience encompasses Bridges, Power Houses, Commercial Complexes, Industries & Residential Group Housing Buildings. A completely self made man, who resigned from the Government job within three months in 1986, learnt business tactics while working in a private construction company for about six years, made his debut in the business in 1993 from a fairly modest level and in a rather short span of time achieved an impressive growth both as a professional and as an entrepreneur.
As on date, Vinod Bagai is working as Managing Director of Samar Estates Pvt Ltd / Ess Vee Group, which aims to devote itself to providing a decent shelter at a reasonable price to the people around them. Ess Vee derives its name from the name of Lord Sidhi Vinayak i.e. Shri Ganesh Ji, the Hindu God, whose invocation is believed to ensure resounding success for any venture and Vinod Bagai thinks, conceives, practices and does each & every work by chanting Ess Vee …. Ess Vee …. i.e. .... Sidhi Vinayak …. Sidhi Vinayak.
It is pertinent to mention here that after Bhuj earthquake in Jan, 2001, most of the Group Housing Societies were surrendering their land to HUDA due to fear / apprehensions in their minds not to live in the Multi Storey Flats in Panchkula, but Vinod Bagai took the courageous decision to undertake to construct six Group Housing Societies in Sector-20, Panchkula and was subsequently able to successfully complete eleven Group Housing Societies i.e. GH-67, GH-7A, GH-8A, GH-44, GH-17, GH-28, GH-27, GH-62, GH-102, GH-103, GH-54 in Sector-20, Panchkula from Jan, 1998 to Dec, 2004, in addition to various other projects like schools, bridges, power house, industrial units, etc. Samar Estates Pvt Ltd, An ISO 9001 Certified Company, the first to obtain licence from Haryana Govt., for promoting & developing residential Group Housing Colony on the land measuring about 22 acres. The Company is promoting & developing, Ready To Move In Luxurious Apartments in the name & style of Ess Vee Apartments, on plot area of about 15 acres (Pocket-A) out of the above said about 22 acres, Ideally Located within HUDA’s fully developed Sector-20 abutting NH-22, Panchkula. It is pertinent to mention here that Company has already sold the apartments to the extent of achieving breakeven point and now the management is in the process of diversifying into other projects / ventures with the sale price of the balance apartments. Vinod Bagai, in collaboration with individual land owners, has also submitted applications to the office of The Director General, Town & Country Planning, Haryana, Chandigarh for grant of license for development of the 17.644 acres land into a Group Housing Colony on the land measuring 13.644 acres and a Commercial Colony on the land measuring 4.000 acres, along with all necessary documents, licence/ scrutiny fee, etc. Vinod Bagai’s dream is that after some time, Ess Vee Group shall be a well knitted larger organisation, known as the “Ess Vee Parivar” as he believes to live in joint family culture, which works towards the betterment of society and people around them. He envisions of an integrated and progressive India, where the interests of each and every citizen are secured.

Social Activities :

Since 1993, on the successful debut in the business, Vinod Bagai had started to take part in social activities like providing help to needy poor students. Further, after the grant of licence to develop the land measuring 21.75 acres in two Pockets A & B, he has donated one Funeral Van & three Ambulance Vans to the Red Cross Society of Panchkula amounting to Rs.14,27,000/- in the month of Oct, 2007. This fact was appreciated by the then Panchkula Deputy Commissioner Sh. Rajinder Kataria & Inspecting Judge of Panchkula Mr. Justice Surya Kant of Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh. He had also donated one Ambulance Van (Tata Sumo) in 2008 costing about Rs.5,00,000/- to the Hospital being run by the Trust of Jai Kripalu Ji Maharaj at Barsana, U.P. Further to the same, on 1st Navratra i.e. 05-10-2013, Vinod Bagai has donated one Ambulance Van to the Red Cross Society of Panchkula amounting to Rs.3,74,000/-. Since 2008, Vinod Bagai had been participating in organizing mass marriages of more than 1000 poor girls by Akhil Bhartiya Agarwal Sangthan (Regd), Distt Panchkula and had donated about Rs.5,00,000/- for the same. Moreover, Vinod Bagai is Patron, Shiv Parvati Sewa Dal, Panchkula and Chief Patron, Mata Bagula Mukhi Mandir, Barisher, Morni, Distt. Panchkula. He loves to celebrate his birthday, festivals, etc at Bal Sadan, Old Age Home, Shishu Greh, etc. From free food, free blankets, free rations for the poor, to ambulances and funeral vans, there is no length to which he won’t go to help the needy.

Political Life :

He has been continuously trying to participate in social works and has decided to fight election for MLA for providing employment to minimum 1000 employees in Ess Vee Group. In addition to above, he is committed for providing employment to minimum 5000 employees within 5 years by arranging production based factories in Industrial Areas of Panchkula & Panchkula Extention (Alipur). According to Vinod Bagai, with the kind, able & good support of General Public, he can do better things for the people of Panchkula / Haryana. Even, most of the heads of the political parties, want professionally managed, technically skilled, young and energetic persons to join politics for providing better services to the General Public of India. As on date, Vinod Bagai alongwith his team, have again got together and formed an NGO in the name & style of Ess Vee Forum For Common Cause, which will be dedicated to solve problems of Panchkula people. Further to the same, he intends to develop Multi Specialty Hospital like Fortis in Panchkula Constituency for the betterment of its residents, which will be run on 20% less rates / fees but will function like PGI, Chandigarh. He also intends to establish University in Panchkula Constituency. Accountable, Reliable & Responsible, are Vinod Bagai’s favoured words when it comes to dealing with people. Listening carefully and attentively, along with mastery in techno-commercial & legal processes are his core strengths. He wants to make Panchkula a haven of health, hospitality and hopes for beautiful living. He always feel thankful to Lord Ganesha / Siddhi Vinayaka, Who gives us the senses to solve the problems of people around us, through the application of our skills and through our dedication to their well-being.
